Why does logic continually fail?

I would say that it is the "logic" you were brought up to believe in that has failed you. As the saying goes about computer logic - "garbage in, garbage out". There is nothing inherently flawed about the principle of logic itself and I suggest you further increase your critical thinking skills if you wish to find "success" in life, however you define it for yourself.
