Ipad 2 or Macbook Air for high school?

Definitely the MacBook. It isn't really good typing long paragraphs on a touch screen for a long period of time. You'd look like you're going over the top if you brought in your own keyboard for it. Like you're taking it too seriously. You can also do more on a MacBook than an iPad.
