Are there any UK laws regarding injury from neighbours thorny plants growing into my garden?.?

If their plants are unwanted in your property they are legally obliged to remove them. But you also have the right to remove the parts which are in your garden, so any damage caused by the plants are your responsibility as you have not removed them.
