Ideology and English question here. Come hither?

I understand what you mean by ideologies; however, an ideology is something very specific and often more political or philosophical in nature. Perhaps 'Inherent cultural norms / attitudes' might fit better? Or maybe even 'historical-cultural ideologies'. Not sure; your assignment sounds interesting though...sorry I couldn't be of more help! x
