How does the idea of regulated capitalism imply that I want a totalitarian communist society?

I just want to remove the inherent flaws within the capitalist system, such as the disastrous idea of introducing profit into the sectors of education and healthcare - and other areas in which profit only deteriorates the welfare of the many.
