Do most American Young Earth Creationists consider the theory of evolution "inherently atheistic"? Why/why not?

(Obviously, I'm not asking for your personal opinion of the theory of evolution nor what you think Christians -- YEC or otherwise -- SHOULD regard evolution in terms of the question of inherent atheism. I'm hoping that R&S participants can at least occasionally address the question actually posted instead of their own emotive substitution.)
