Before introducing a right to die, how about supporting the right to live one's final days without shame?

it should be a choice you can make no one is suggesting putting people to sleep, there has been no mass killing of people in the country's it is legal but every person should have the right to decide what happens to them should they contract a terminal illness, both people in terry Pratchett's programme had progressive illnesses that they were not going to recover from and the life was slowly being taken from both of them i don't think it was a case of being tired of life more a case of waiting while the life slowly drained from them they both decided and chose to end there own lives, some will agree some will disagree but in the end it was there choice and that's all they asked for.
